Overview and Target Audience:

This course is designed for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Clinical Reviewers (MBSCRs) to assist them with data extraction, assignment of variables, report generation, preparation of data, & better understanding of their role with their local MBS Committees and MBS Directors. The course will include an MBSCR panel who will discuss their best practices for data capture & workflow as well. Surgeon experts will discuss an in-depth review of all metabolic & bariatric surgery procedures as well as discuss potential complications of these, & an interactive trivia game will be offered for attendees to review key data abstraction considerations.

Target Audience: MBSCRs, Quality Department leaders, MBS Coordinators, MBS Directors
