Dr. Kai Ling Kong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University at Buffalo. Her primary research focus is on infant health, specifically infant nutrition, physical activity and enriched home environments. Her research aims to identify how infant-toddler eating behaviors affect obesity later in life and how early interventions can protect those at risk for obesity. She currently has an R01 to study the effects of a music enhancement program on altering eating behaviors in infants who have a high motivation to eat.
