Mr. Alexander is former senior media counselor for the International Food Information Council Foundation located in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University and is a former network correspondent with ABC News in New York. After a 25-year broadcast career, Mr. Alexander turned to strategic media communication and has, for most of the past two decades, counseled a variety of clients, including research scientists, on media relations, communication strategies and message development. During that period, Mr. Alexander and Sylvia Rowe have conducted communication workshops and collaborated on a series of published journal articles on science communications issues and the evolving challenge to public acceptance of credible science. A native of Northern California, Mr. Alexander currently resides with his wife in Lewes, Delaware.
